Robert Daniel (Dan) Schlabach

Robert Daniel (Dan) Schlabach, age 73, left us on Wednesday October 12, 2022, after passing suddenly at his home in North Richland Hills. He was born July 17, 1949, in Phoenix, Arizona to Wesley and Bernice (Maddux) Schlabach. Dan had a very adventurous life with many incredible stories to tell. He enjoyed traveling and the outdoors. He especially loved spending time on the water fishing and playing the ponies at Lone Star Park. He was hard-working, gentle, friendly, and one hell of a cook. Always willing to help anyone who needed it, Dan was loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his brother Jack Schlabach and nephew Austin Schlabach of North Richland Hills, two sons Eli and Andrew (Andy) Schlabach, daughter-in-law Shana (Bredensteiner) Schlabach, and two adopted sons Joe Holden and Arthur Brodeur. Dan also leaves behind his six grandchildren, Axton, Maddox, Matthew, Quincy, Elina, and Kelsea Schlabach and many wonderful friends. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held on November 12, 2022 in the Fort Worth area. Details pending.
