John Kent

On Thursday, October 27, John Kent of Tyler, Texas passed away unexpectedly at his home in Athens, Texas, at the age of 35. John loved all of his friends deeply and fiercely, and he was always so excited to show everyone a cool new toy or gadget he had collected that was super cool.

John was preceded in death by his mother Teresa Kent (McAllister). He will be forever remembered by his father, Cary Kent, siblings Paul Kent, Stephanie Thompson, April Gilmore and husband Rick, Kurtis Kent and wife Annette, and Kelley DiSilvestro and husband Tom.

A Celebration of Life for John will be held at Camp Tyler on Saturday, November 5 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
